The Mountain Ridge Marching Band allows students their first experience in an ensemble in high school and installs the fundamentals necessary for success.

Any student in grades 8-12 can be a part of the Marching Band and EVERYONE finds a place to take part. There are no auditions to join, however, there are auditions for student placement within his/her section. Band meets at various times throughout the summer through early-November.
