The Mountain Ridge Jazz Orchestra (MRJO) is an audition-based traditional big-band consisting of saxophones, trombones, trumpets, and a rhythm section. Students will have the opportunity to perform many different jazz styles.  This ensemble performs during the Winter concert, as well as several festivals during the late winter/spring months. Auditions will occur in August and will be included on the events calendar. Participation in Jazz Orchestra requires the student to have also participated in Marching/Concert Band, with exceptions made by the Director.
